Everest Expedition -  The 40-Mile Challenge

Celebrate 40 years of the Neuro Therapy Centre with an exciting challenge that takes you or your team new heights.  Whether you're an individual, part of a local group, or represent a business, this is your chance to embark on a virtual journey to the summit of Mount Everest, all from your local area.


What is the Mount Everest Virtual Challenge?

This virtual event invites individuals and teams to complete a 40-mile (64 km) virtual journey to the summit of Mount Everest. The distance reflects 40 incredible years of supporting people with neurological conditions. Run, walk, cycle, swim, or wheel , choose your activity,  and conquer the challenge!


Event Details

Participant - Open to individuals, local groups, and businesses

Challenge Period: Throughout 2025

Entry Fee: £30 per participant or £25 per participant for groups of 6 or more.

Fundraising Goal: Each participant pledges to raise a minimum of £150 each


How It Works

  • Sign Up : Register your interest here
  • Recruit Participants (for teams)
    Each team must have 6 individuals taking part. Participants complete the challenge individually.
  • Track Individual Progress
    Use the Challenge app to log activities, unlock milestones, and receive virtual postcards as key points are reached.
  • Celebrate and Compete
    Every participant receives a ‘real’ medal for completing the virtual challenge.
  • Individuals & Team entries will  join an overall leader board. At the end of the Challenge there will be recognition for the:

Biggest Fundraiser - The individual/team who raised the most money overall

The most engaged – The individual/team who creates the most social media or local engagement overall
